Oreo – 100th Birthday

Happy Birthday!
On March 6, 1912 in Hoboken N.J., two decoratively embossed chocolate-flavored biscuits met up with a rich creme filling and OREO was born! One hundred years later, there’s a lot to celebrate, and we partnered with OREO to bring millions together to celebrate the kid inside!

Our incredibly comprehensive digital program made these moments of child-like delight easier to create and share around the world. Some of the highlights include:

  • OREO Cookiegram: An innovative partnership with Target where consumers could buy a pack of OREO cookies for anyone in the US redeemable at any Target store via a smartphone coupon.
  • OREO Birthday Notes: Create memorable and personalized rich video wishes with Lady Antebellum. Consumers could send a video greeting and personalize it by choosing the users name, state and relationship from multiple options.
  • OREO Prize Pack: Share an OREO moment or upload a birthday picture to the OREO Facebook Birthday of the Day and enter to win a OREO prize pack
  • Surprise to be announced throughout 2012… including a Twitter promotion and mobile application.

We adapted many of these programs in 20+ countries around the world in 9 languages, providing a consistent look and feel with a local touch to an iconic brand.
