-- well, there is very sad news. i missed last months newsletter
because there was a very unfortunate death in our family. my seventeen
year old cousin, Nicole, passed away after being involved in a
horrific automobile accident. she was a truly passionate, and rich
minded person. she was open hearted, and not afraid to stand strong
by her beliefs. we have setup a memorial site in her honor, nicolejohnson.lavertue.com.
-- in other, more cheerful news, upon my return to new england,
the place i was working part time, asked me to come on full time.
well, actually they told me i had to! it's a great job, and they
are great people. and, even more important, they do some really
great work. we recently put together a new site of our work. please
check it out if you are interested to see what we do l4b3l.com
-- esin had a terrific year ending at yale. with the exception
of the bombing incident at the law school. now, i know she probably
doesn't want me to mention it, but she really did do well
at yale. in fact, each year yale puts a fairly decent publication
out of the students work. three of her four professors selected
her class work to be part of the publication. this is quite an
honor, as some students go through yale without submitting any
work. i'm sure she would have had the other class work submitted
as well, but it was a theory class and i suppose they weren't going
to publish her ten page paper! she really is an intelligent woman.
she will be spending the summer with her family in istanbul.
-- i added two new espn projects to the work section. one for
the fantasy football league promotion site. the other is a flash
game for espn and volkswagen.
