lavertue.com news
Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Halloween. Esin and I had one 'trick-n-treater'
come to the house. If I was still in New Hampshire, I wouldn't be surprised.
But, now that we live in Los Angeles, one seemed a little low! I have nearly
finished the portfolio section of my site. At this point, that is the majority.
I was hoping for the end of this month, but I got slowed down when my computer
internal combusted and died on me. [I'm writing this newsletter from my new
monitor.]
screensavers.lavertue.com
The screensaver section of lavertue.com has moved. A separate sub-domain has
been setup to support two tasks. 1. Enable a voting system. 2. Easy way to remember
where the screensavers are.
new domain registered
I have started a side project that only I know the details about. The site will
be launched 02.02.2002.
The project is dubbed 'mutemuse'. More will
be explained once the date draws near.
personal prejudice
After being located in Los Angeles area for nearly 3.5 months, I have not done
a whole bunch. I have attended few interviews, visited the San Diego and Big
Bear Mtn ski resort, and went to the beach quite a bit. I had a freelance job
with FocusTribe and the project went
really sour. I am not to happy with them right now. I then did a stint at BlackDragon
creating a ecard for a band called Nickelback.
This was a trial period to see how I worked with their creative director and
how efficiently I could the work as a whole. Good news! They want me back. I
got a call this evening. I'm going to work on the ecard for Rob
Zombie's new album, The Sinister Urge.
